If you or your company or group would like to sponsor a low-income family with a talented student who should attend a four-year college, you should contact Andrew Henrotin, the Executive Director of CollegeWorks, at 650-349-2909. There is a one-time fee per family and the support will continue until the sponsored student graduates from college. It is clearly the most cost-effective, college-support model currently available.

Creating a Legacy:

If you, your family or group would like to leave a legacy on behalf of a cherished family member, colleague, or club member, CollegeWorks Scholars Program is a powerful and effective way to honor them.

Instead of establishing a traditional scholarship that requires an enormous and ongoing monetary commitment to have any effect at all, creating a Scholar Program in the name of the honored person is a far less costly and far more effective option.

For a relatively modest one-time cost, you can establish an appropriately named Scholar Program. With the funding, CollegeWorks will ensure that the recipient student/scholar attends a four-year college that best fits the student's interests, abilities and social needs. The program will further ensure that the family receives enough financial aid to support that student throughout the entire four years of college.

When a Scholars Program is established that funds a new family every year, by year six or seven, there will be six or seven families actively in the program but the annual cost to the sponsor remains constant.

Built into the Scholars Program will be the ability to monitor the progress of the sponsored student and to track the financial aid which the family will acquire as the student moves through college.

Sponsoring individuals or groups may either select the recipient families themselves or delegate that responsibility to CollegeWorks.

If you or your group are interested in creating a Scholars Program as a means to honor the life of another, please contact Andrew Henrotin, Executive Director of CollegeWorks at 650-349-2909.
